    I have had terrible luck with the Roxio and Nero products in general. I just need to install packet-writing software ONLY (not the whole suite) to help with my video tasks and backup my files.

    Which is the most stable and reliable for accessing rw disks?

    I have never had much luck with InCD, and neither has anyone I know. Given that packet-writing nevered really seemed of much use I just uninstalled it and my problems went away.

    Give the Sonic a go instead.
