I love milk, always have. I've always drank alot of milk.
BUT for the last like 2 weeks it seems everytime I've drank milk there has been a strange faint taste to it. Like its starting to go bad. But in some cases the out day is over a week away.
Tonight what I'm drinking is Ultra Pasteurized, meaning is that stuff with the insane dates. This one doesn't go out until 12/14/05 because of that. Also its chocolate milk, yet the taste is still here.
Anyone had something like this happen?

Happens from time to time. Try switching brands or stores. Sometimes though you're stuck.

As for your avatar, even if google didn't have it, I believe it's still sitting somewhere in a thread next to an oscar trophy if you recall. -

Well no I'm not on any meds. And yeah the ultra stuff taste different, I only get it because thats all that there is in the vending machine at work.
I dunno, its just weird that I have been unable to enjoy milk lately. After the first few times I knew it was just me but still... odd. -
Perhaps, you've ran of of real milk and are now on the emergency back up rations - Dog's milk.

Milk has tasted funny to me for a long time. I was raised in rural Eastern Oregon and we used to buy our milk directly from farmers or ranchers with cows ... before it was "processed." My stepdad would always let it sit in the refrigerator overnight before using it. By morning, the cream part would float to the top of the bottle ... which he'd skim off to use in his coffee.
FWIW, we used to get butter the same way ... from farmers and ranchers with cows. And I'm always amazed that some people think that "real" butter is "yellow." It's not. It's just a bit darker than the color of real milk ... and tastes SOOOOOO much better than the crap bought in stores that "calls" itself butter. -
