"What program can convert gasoline into a bucket".
None. AVI is a file. CUE/BIN is a CD or DVD image, a container for any kind of files. Sorry, but you have to be a little more specific. Try again.

  3. I meant it like VCDGear can "convert" or put (however you want to say it) MPEG into a CD image so I was wondering if there was a program that used AVIs instead of MPEGs.

  4. thanks for the help, but it's still not what I wanted. I don't think i'm explaining it good, but the general question is how do I generate a CUE and BIN file to burn onto a CD-R. But not generating it straight from a DVD. Also, do know any good program to burn AVI and MPEGs. I always used dvdSanta but its starting to give me problems.

folder2iso makes a iso from files. or use the old good cdrwin or fireburner and add the files and make a bin/cue. but why do you need cue/bin???

    do you mean convert avi/mpegs to a dvd-video ? use divxtodvd .
or just burn files???? any burning tool.

    Yea, I guess
I started using divxtodvd which is really good, but I just want to put it onto a CD instead of a DVD.
    I'm so confused.

Don't be. There are plenty of guides on the subject left.
You need TMPGEnc and VCDEasy. Possibly VirtualDub. And some reading.

Work out what you want to do first, and read up as much as you can about your choice before asking a question. Once you've got a good idea of what you want to do, THEN we can help you.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Yeah, there is such a programm. It creates so called XCD and the name is Mode2CDMaker. Though you need some CDXA filters to play it on computer. Look at doom9 download site for such a filter (it is called Riff CD/XA filter for XCD)
AFAIK there is even a standalone DVD/DivX player that can play such a disks)
