I would like to purchase a DVD-Recorder that I will use for both recording DVDs and CDs, but I need to have digital audio input for recording audio CDs.
Does such a unit exist?
Can anyone recommend a unit?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this helps, but the Lite-On LVW-5006 has a recording mode for Audio CDs and will accept input from firewire (DV). Pehaps a firewire breakout box for digital audio could be used. The digital audio ports on the unit are out-only.

It is my understanding that DV inputs on DVD Recorders are DVI (video only), so no audio.
Can someone correct me on this?
