Twice in the last month my Sony PD-150 camcorder lost its settings. While I DID leave it on overnight connected to its charger (no external battery connected, mind you) per the manual in order to attempt to charge the internal battery, I just don't trust it anymore! In fact, when I turned it on again last night all of the settings were in their default mode, thus indicating that this internal battery surely is shot!!
I would like to know if anyone knows the location/size of this little internal battery (I assume that it is a li-ion button battery?) in both the PD-150/170 AND VX-2000/2100 series camcorders. Has anyone changed these batteries? What size is the battery, and where did you purchase it (commonly used or hard-to-find)? I would like to change these backup batteries in both of my camcorders, and do NOT want to have to reset all of my presets each time that I turn it on). If anyone is privy to the answers, please post here ASAP!
Thanks in advance!!

Folks, I REALLY could use your help right now, and I am sure that I am not the only one in the world experiencing this particular battery problem!!
ANYONE??!!

If it DID, I would NOT be posing the question here. All that the manual makes reference to is that there is a backup battery--period!
