  1. I encode all my DivX movies in TMPGEnc using the exact specifications in the VCD creation tutorial on this site. When I load the .mpg file into Nero I get the following message: "The following problems were found: - Stream encoding which is invalid for [Super] Video CD" Then I always click "Turn off standard compliance and continue". The VCDs work fine on my downstairs DVD player but not on the one I have upstairs. Although they both play the VCDs I bought from allvcd.com. So what the hell did I do wrong?

  2. phantomboner,

Did you check if your (upstair) player supports CD-R/Cd-RW playback. Its probably your (upstair) player couldn't support CD-R/CD-RW playback. If your vcd is no good, then you wouldn't be able to play it with your player downstair. Jordan.
