I'm trying to figure out a way to erase some DVD+RW disks that I use in my dvd recorder. If you use the normal and full format erase methods, it still leaves the disk formated. Is there a way to return the disks back to the brand new state? Not formated or anything, just like it is when it comes out of the package. The reason I ask is because they won't work on my recorder after they have been finalized or erased with my computer. I've tried to use nero with full erase and dvdinfopro with no luck. I have a BENQ W1640.

None that I know of, have you tried erasing them on the recorder? Some RAM discs I use on both PC and recorder work this way.
Still a few bugs in the system...
