Please give me a guide to make the "STOP" button on the remote control, so press the "STOP" button it will return to main menu of the dvd.
I'm using dvd-lab Pro. I tried to search from this forum and the site under DLP, I couldn't find it.

Pardon my ignorance, but isn't that what the Menu or Title buttons on your remote are for ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  4. you can't program stop commands.

dvd specs allows user to program only for these remote interruptions:
    root menu
    title menu
    audio menu
    subtitle menu
    chapter menu
    angle menu

every item of dvd programming occurs during a pgc vm pre or post commands/button commands/cell commands.

stop button is a feature of the dvd player itself, hence you cannot program its function.

I can do this in Adobe Encore

  6. i haven't had experience with adobe encore. I'm a scenarist user, and when you press stop, the dvd player itself should overide any user programmed controls, and if the dvd has jacket picture information, it should display a picture. Now since those jacket pictures are just mpeg pictures, they don't have any navigational timeouts, you press play again usually to resume your disc. If no jacket pictures defined, then stop basically puts you to the dvd screen saver, waiting for you to press play again to resume. I know this is from about 14 dvd players i have tested on, from high end, to low end.

You can use PUOs to override and block the use of stop, but certainly with DVD Lab Pro you can't assign it another function.
