Hello,
I had a problem with my pc about 2 weeks ago that didn't result in me reformatting but repairing xp. The problem is I cannot get my dvd burner to burn past 2x. I will burn between 1.1 and 1.3. Before this problem I could burn at nearly 15x. I use dvd decrypter as my software for burning. In the option box I have messed around with the different speeds but everyone of them has done the same low speed. I have checked my device manager and it says all of my drivers are updated to the fullest. I have a P4 2.66, 512 mb ram. 120g hd, Videomate Tuner, dvdrw, cdrw, dvdrom, nividia geforce fx 5500. Everything worked fine until I had this problem. Also I am using the same discs I used previously. Any suggestion would be great. Thanks for your time Stewart

Is your burner running in DMA mode?
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD! -
Yes I should I have included that. Someone else gave me a suggestion to adjust all of those in the device manager. Thanks
