  1. Hi, i've recently started having problems when I come to burning, using dvddecrypter. I'm using decrypter and shrink to get the video ts file but would like to know if there is another decent software for burning as i'm fed up of throwing away half burnt discs.
    Cheers.

The DVD Shrink / DVD Decrypter combination is usually quite solid. What DVD burner do you have and what media are you using (Media ID that is not the brand)?

  3. The dvd writer is NU DVDRW DDW-081 and the media is MCC-003-00. I've been using the above for months and have had no problems. I don't get much problems except when I start burning i'm getting errors coming up.
    Cheers.

I had somewhat similiar circumstance as you. Simply uninstall/reinstall decrypter and see what happens. This simple solution worked for me.
BTW, I've tried numerous programs for burning and decrypter is still my favorite.

    Good Luck!

  5. I've just reinstalled decrypter and tried it again but an i/o error appeared at 77%. I've now wasted about 20 discs on this particular movie.
    Cheers.

If decrypter is failing and your using DVD Shrink to burn, where are the wasted discs coming from? If it's the burning that is causing issues have you tried slowing down the burn to 8,4,2x ? Sometimes slowing down a burn will achieve better results. In most cases, playback compatibility in multiple machines is also better with slower burns.
