Ok, so I am ripping with SubRip from a .vob file and it is working great... EXCEPT, when I encode the subtitles to a .avi with VirtualDubMod, the subtitles are more than 30 seconds off!!
If I set the timing in SubRip to -32 seconds, it is ALMOST right on but not quite. Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to be 30 seconds off?

I am experiencing the same problem. The subtitles are about 30s off sync with the movie.
Any help will be apprecciated. -
What format are you trying to convert the DVD video to? Just curious.
