    I think I am following the instructions correctly......by using DivX Doctor 2 to convert the AVI to Mov, then following the instructions on ffmpegX encoding the Mov to DVD, on conversion I am using Toast 6...just the VIDEO_TS and the AUDIO_TS and burning. However on placing the disc in a DVD player....it only shows black and white....sound is ok!!!
    I am quiet new to this but I thought I was following the instructions, using mpeg2enc but I did change the video tab from half dvd to dvd.
    What could I possibly be doing wrong!!!
    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    That could happen if you view NTSC content on a certain PAL tvs. Check if you have a setting for PAL-60, which could solve that.
