    Well i just bought a copy of Fafner Volume 1 DVD and when i try to make a backup both DVD x copy and DVD decryptor either freeze or say they wont open it so if anyone else out there can think of a way to fix this or might know whats wrong id love to hear it.

  2. use anydvd,dvddecrypter is old,and hasnt been updated in a long time.

    i tryed using dvdfa but the program said there was an error opening the dvd but it works in my dvd player so im gonna try the anydvd way.

    You could also try DVD43 as a free alternative to AnyDVD.

  6. I'd suggest going the AnyDVD route as well. I've 'heard' of people having problems with DVD43 which just adds to the flustration (SP!)

  7. It may have a scratch or a weak burn spot, your dvd player jumps over it and you don't notice it but reading it creates error. Check to see if disc has finger smudges, clean it , try other burners or drives if could not be read take it back for a refund.

    Well it is clean no smudges or anything and it does play on the dvd player easy but it still wont let me backit up so yeah i guess ill just have to take it back.
