I just bought the STUDIO I ONE CR-100 COLOR REGISTRATION CORRECTOR on ebay. It has S video In and both S video and composite Out. I want to use it to enhance VHS source such as detail and sharpness prior to record to my Sony dvr. Does any one in this forum know anything about the CR-100? Please advise.

I don't think what you bought will help you with enhancing your detail/sharpness. Looks like that unit adjusts color offset of the picture.
