    Are there any programs that can be used to remove DIVX/XVID video compression besides the Trial ones and the sample ones that let you only convert to 50 % or less to mpeg format.

    You can use virtualdubmod to convert it to an uncompressed AVI, if that's what you want, then use tmpgenc to convert to mpeg.

    Be aware though - there are no programs that can undo the compression. You can convert the Divx files to uncompressed avi, but they will still look exactly the same. You cannot put back what Divx has taken out, although with the right combination of filters you might be able to recreate some of it.
