I hate the FOX NFL yards to go graphic

Ok this is stupid. They have this marker on the field showing how much yards it is to get the first down. In and of itself I don't mind it.

What I don't like is they leave it on during the play!!!

Its really distracting.

If you think that's distracting..........Something I just saw that was new today, at least to me. I was surfing and came across a ?Formula 1? race on ABC. Whatever series that Danica Patrick races in. They had a split screen with a full commercial playing in one side and the race on the other side. So to get the aspect right they played them 16:9'ish with the commercial taking up most of the space. So the race was reduced to about 1/6 th the screen. This took place during a extended yellow flag so th race image only showed them clearing debris...........

Then as the graphic proclaimed "side by side" commercial was over guess what? They cut to a full commercial. My guess is it's not long before you see full commercials DURING game play or whatever sporting even your watching.

Forget that little graphic, did you see how much they went to commercials during the two games today? And worse is they were coming back seconds before the play was away or even during the play! I understand that there need to be commercials during the programming on network television but it can't overlap the game.

I'm also really pissed that they don't show replays after each play anymore. The million and one penalties GB got today wouldn't be such a bitter pill if I could have actually seen what the call was made on. As it was it just looked like the refs were on the Lion's payroll. And for the Lions fans on here I hope you aren't looking at that game as a strong win, the Packers beat themselves that game with their sloppy performance. You're going to have to step it up if you plan to lead the division for the rest of the season.

fox's entire graphics package is annoying.

and yes, they do run a crapload of commecials.. i was just making a dvd of the chargers/cowboys game yesterday.. the run time of the game from start to end was 3:16, actual coverage of the game was 2:13.. this includes a few minutes of pre-game & midgame covearge, not the half time show though.

I remember a few years ago they did a funny skit on the pregame show <FOX PREGAME that is> (one of the few times I've actually watched it).

They had a guy impersonating andy rooney. In it he was blabbing about something but then the screen started to get filled up with graphics, news crawls and all that. Then the guy was trying to move into an open part of the screen and couldn't. It was a pretty good bit.

At least you weren't around here, lots of people out burning their purple apparel early this year

Meanwhile my team wasn't looking very good at home either, but at least we narrowed the score pretty quick at the end. I guess we don't have a very strong division again this year

Yeah,just saw it in the Lions.Didnt really bother me but neither did thr puck halo. But then again I dont like hockey.we do need a whine icon.
