  1. does any one know where i can find some dividers for my dvd collection ?

i have them in a media shelf with the spines facing out and have placed them in alphabetical order. I'm looking for a divider i can place between the dvds with out taking a lot of space in the shelf with the tab (letter) facing out.

i have found a few but they all have the "tab" on top, not on the side.

    any help would be great...

hope this is the right forum for the post ..

    thanks

One way I do it is to just take a Blank DVD case, make a uniform color for all the alphabetical dividers and place a large letter in a contrasting color on the spine facing out..

Doesnt look like many suggestions. I was just thinking about the same thing right before you posted.
I have mine (almost done) by Actor and looking a divider to slip in between the cases also. Thought about the manilla folders and cut them to fit as they have the tab on the side after you slide them in. They are somewhat expensive when buying a lot and then wasting most of the folder after the cut out.
If you come up with any ideas please post back.
    Thanks.

  4. welll i found this site after googling ..

    http://www.discsox.com/products/24divdvd.htm

the tabs are on top, but i'm sure you can turn them over and trim to fit..

i like the fact that they are a hard clear plastic.. don't know if you can reposition the the letters on the dividers to face correclty ? and the price isn't to expensive..

i thought about the blank dvd case but it would take up more space than i would like.

Hmmm... That gives me an idea.... go to Dollar General Store, buy 13 of the
same colored plastic school book binders, cut the front and back covers to size so they stick out just a little from the dvd cases, buy the stick-on plastic alpha/numeric stickers at the local stationary store, and Bingo!...Homemade dividers...Thanks sam5spd, that link gave me the idea...Gonna do it this weekend...
