  1. I was wanting to know if they are a program that will let me watch a ISO Movie File?

    I download movies from the net and most of them are in ISO format and I'd like to preview them before I waste a DVD Disk on them.

    If they are a program could someone please let me know what it's called?

    You'll need to "Mount" it with Alcohol 120%
    It will create a virtual DVD/CD drive that will simmulate you actually inserting a disk on that dirve. It will load as if you had a disk in a regular drive.

    After you are done you unmount it. This is done by right clicking the virtual drive icon in My Computer and clicking on the mount image command.

    You can also use Daemon Tools. It will mount an iso just like Alcohol, but it's free.

  4. I used Daemon Tools to do just that but now I can't get rid of the virtual drive. You might want to go with Alcohol 120% unless you can find out how to get rid of the drive when you don't need it. I haven't found anyone yet that knows how.

    Have you tried r-clicking on the Daemon Tools manager in the toolbar tray, then selecting "Virtual CD/DVDROM" and then "Unmount all drives" ?

    unmounting the drive will just have the drive display as empty. if you want to remove it do this;

    right-click daemon tools icon, virtual cd/dvd-rom, set number of devices, disable.

    Alcohol is probably worth the money if you need some of it's other functions. But if all you need it to mount an iso, why waste the money just because you can't get rid of the virtual drive? What harm is it being there?

    Read the site where it came from. I've never seen a site with legal-to-download movies lacking in burning instructions.
