i have avi's divx that are 512x288. I used Main Concept MPEG encoder. I want to make MPEG-1 so i can put then on VCD and DVD's. But when I goto use TMPGEnc DVD Author. It says that I cannot use 512x288 for use with a standard DVD player. How do I change my MPEG-1 file to a different resolution? DVD author says I need to use one of these : 352x240, 352x480, 704x480, 720x480

    Thank you

If you want to use the same source for both VCD's and DVD's you need to go with 352x240. I wouldn't recommend resizing the mpg, better to resize whilst encoding from the original avi source. I thought MainConcept had a setting for VCD? It should resize for you.
