I exported a movie file from premiere pro but now all the motion in it is jerky.
The movie was an old 8mm film if that helps. Do something with the framerate?

I exported it as a "Microsoft DV AVI" to my desktop, heres the stats...
Export
Video and audio
Entire Sequence
Filetype
Microsoft DV AVI
Video Settings
Compressor: DV (NTSC)
Frame size: 720h 480v (0.900)
Frame rate: 29.97 frames/second
Pixel Aspect Ratio: D1/DV NTSC (0.9)
Color depth: Millions of colors
Quality: 100 (out of 100)
Fields: Lower Field First
Audio Settings
Sample rate: 32000 samples/second

There was no capturing, the 8mm film came on a CD. Hope that helps, thanks in advance. -
Sounds like a problem with the framerate. You will need to do some searching for "8mm to dvd" conversion. I believe that you need to do something to the framerate to get it to play better.
