    Does any body knows:
    What is better to work in my DVD project mpeg2 or avi?, because mpeg is not heavy as the avi ...
    So I edith my DV (avi) files in Adobe Premiere, when a I finish, I had wondered: what is better to export in mpeg2 or avi for DVD Encore (Project)

    MPEG2 is DVD-Video legal. AVI is not.

    Yep, you'll need MPEG-2 at some point if your target is a DVD to be playable in all settop DVD players.

    <insert pandora's box (settops capable of playing divx/xvid) here>

    That said, you only want to convert to MPEG-2 once if you can help it, so if all you're doing in Premiere is editing, then using Encore to do the encoding and authoring in one, then yes, IMHO you're better off exporting back out using DV-AVI.
