So, i downloaded a file, .avi, and for some reason i dont get sound at all! I have the latest divx codec, and ALL of my other video files work....but for some reason this one does not. When i try to play it, a window comes up that says "download windown meadia audio codec" i have no clue what the hell thta meant, so i pressed yes, and still, no audio, so then i tried presssing no, still no audio. I was just wondering, what the hell is going on. any help is appreciated.

You may need to restart after the codec install. I would think not, but maybe.

Also, start the file up in your media player, right click on the screen and go to Properties. There you can find what the audio codec is and manually search for it and d/l it.
