    sorry for posting bout this again but as the title says when i do a ipconfig/all its telling me that my ethernet card is dissconnected and its telling me the pci adapter is connected ,how to hell do i connect the ethernet adapter please help,im running xp pro thanks

    With the lack of any other ideas, have you tried pulling the card, reboot, then install it back? The OS should find it again and you can reinstall drivers if it needs them. Or delete the driver and reinstall that.
