VirtualDubMob and VBR MP3

I am trying to multiplex a DivX movie with VBR mp3 audio. VDub gives me this warning and a resulting AVI with desynchronized audio.

What does this error means?

Hi-

Did you answer "yes" and got the asynch audio?? Then answer "no" and do it again.

Or use something that doesn't ask that question, such as Nandub, or AVIMuxGUI.

VBR MP3 audio sucks for a lot of reasons.

Usually I just save it as a WAV with VD and use that audio file. TMPGEnc won't accept VBR audio either. You can use the WAV file with TMPGEnc and it will convert it to MPEG-1 Layer 2 audio or better use ffmpegGUI to convert to AC3 and use that for your video to save space.
