Lite-on burner stops at the middle of the burn?

I have a 1613s Lite-on burner and have been burning with it for a while.
Im having trouble with it now.It encodes all the way and then starts burning and then will stop at about 17% to 23%.
Does anyone know why its doing this?
Can someone please help?

Whenever I've had this issue it was a bad burner.

Are you able to burn a full disc of data?

It's software that encodes, not your burner. What programs are you using to encode and to burn?

have you loading on any new dvd or cd burning programs ????


I have the same problems .....

have you installed any of the following dvdclone, cdclone . anydvd ??? Windows player v10 (i tnink that the version)???

I'm try to remove certain programs ... without having to format my hard drive

It's a program problem.... not media . As I was burning with now problems and I've installed something with has caused the problems.

yeah,ive burned a complete disc after that and one that the first minute worked.
Im using dvdshrink.
