  1. I've been trying to get a seamlessly looping clip in After Effects, but they just aren't turning out the way I want. I set the evolution settings exactly like they should be but the last frame is always black.

Since my clip is ten seconds, I think it has something to do with the framerate. At 29.97fps, I should end up with 299.7 frames, but AE renders out 300 frames for the clip....is the black ending up on that leftover frame? I tried adjusting the clip down to the last frame to try to get rid of it, but it's not working for me.

    What am I doing wrong?

    TIA...

    You can't have a 299.7 frames clip.
I what way isn't it seemless? When you loop it in let's say a DVD menu, or when you loop it on your computer?
AFAIK, no DVD player plays a loop seamless (like for an animated menu background) - it will always be a slight pause at the end of each loop, before it repeats.
