help comp reboots any time i try to copy cd using nero

hi all have a very wierd problem any time i try to use the copy cd in nero so i can back up a cd it keeps rebooting my comp ....to give more detail using nero smart start i pick the task copy cd that opens nero express after i pick the source drive and my cd rw drive i click copy as soon as i do that my computer reboots any help please as i am lost to the reason

Try using Nero System Info. If it reboots using that as well, your version of Nero is an "ill-gotten" copy. This is a known issue for two versions of nero that have made the rounds on the internet pirate seas. If you have these symptoms, do a system virus scan as your system is now infected as well.

ok did that no virus or adware found i am gonna delete nero as i have version 6 from when i brought my dvd writer will this fix the problem and thankyou for the quick reply
