I am making a video for a school project, and I need to convert a replay of a video game into a usable format. The format that the game saves the replay files in is (.Vcd) I need to know what programs I can use to convert this to an Mpeg file. If you know of any programs, and where to get them, I would appriciate it. I dont not care if the programs are free or not. I am using Vegas 6 as my movie making software if you need to know.

    Thanks

Well you could try simply renaming the file to .mpg. I've never seen .vcd as an extension. It might be hard to convert it if its a special in house format.

    What game(s) is it?

Try opening in Gspot... What type does it say it is?

Many game replays are proprietary and are not directly convertable. Good thing is you might be able to do a screengrab-to-video, depending upon the horsepower of your system.
