Use real authoring software, not NVE.
    NVE is junk software.

    Something like TDA is excellent.

  3. Hi

    Thanks

    But this was no good.

My problem is it wants a dvd-9 and I am trying to shrink it a little to fit on a dvd-5
This software is also asking for a dvd9 so I'm in the same boat as Nero

    Any other ideas???

Author intentionally oversize then use something like DVDShrink to pull it back down. Either that or prepare your files with the correct bitrate when encoding so that they will fit onto a DVD5 in the first instance.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  5. I second Jimmalenko's suggestion. DVD Shrink is free and you won't regret downloading it and learning to use it. TDA is my favorite authoring program. I think you can use the free trial for 30 days so you can finish your project without laying out any money. If you do this kind of thing a lot you won't regret buying it.
