    does anyone know where to find any info on this player, bought it in asda for £49.99 seems to be based on the same chipset as the yamada dvx6600
    looking for some firmware of even an official DUAL website.... i got a region hack for it
    press - standby,open/close,clear,1,2,6,9
    press region req 0-6 (0 region free RCE plays also)
    press - open/close,standby
    to revify - setup,1,3,7,9 - shows firmware, region etc...

    seems to work ok, has RGB output & NTSC/PAL/PAL60 output.

    Hi

    I have one of these also and there doesn't seem to be any info about it - although I guess it must be similar to the 859 and there's some info about this. Dual have a website but it doesn't list their DVD players: http://www.dualav.com/

    Did you try phoning the number on the back page of the instruction manual?
