Have you tried ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew from a command prompt?

If you have a Linksys WRT54G and you have a firmware older than version 3.03.9, the wireless link will stop working after transfering large files.
What kind of router and version you have? The version should be listed and the botton of your router.
Try unpluging and pluging back the power supply of your router and check if you can repair your wireless link.
