  1. hi all i have some mpeg files but the frame rate is either in ntsc and i need pal or the sound is in 44100 and i need 48000 so i am asking what i can use to change them so there in pal format at 48000mhz audio if they was avi wouldnt have the problem but as there already mpeg i do i know i could use virtual dub as i tried a sampl but that would mean it was back to a avi file and then i would have to reconvert back to mpeg to burn as dvd which would mean alot of time doing all the converts and lose of quailty ....but there must be something that converts mpeg to mpeg allowing you to change the frame rate of the video and audio also allowing you to change the audio to what you need
thankyou to anyone who can help

If they are already PAL, and sample rate is the only problem, demux the audio, change the sample rate, then mux the new audio back in.

NTSC to PAL conversion is a bit trickier, but also doable. If you look over to your left there is a menu, one of which is headed How To. Under that is Convert. Start there, and look at the guides for NTSC to PAL

i just took a PAL DVD and successfully converted to NTSC using Nero Vision Express. Choose the Make dvd option, add the files, at the end when it askes you where to burn the DVD a pop up comes and says it is in PAL, would you like to convert to NTSC--i said yes and it worked great.
