Anyone have any suggestons as to which is best for white inkjet printable dvd, and does it matter -r or +r? thanks!

Neither of this is "best". But they're both quite decent. Best is Taiyo Yuden, Maxell, MCC.

As far as the inkjet surface, I have to defer to others. But I can say Prodisc printable surface is nice, while Ritek is a bit "rough".Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

BTW, the answer to that question is, IMHO, 16X Verbatim MCC/Taiyo-Yuden DVD+R. -
Based on my personal experience with these two budget brands, I would choose Ritek over Prodisc.

IMO, I used Prodisc Printable (cheaper than Ritek) and I already used 250 discs with 4 bad.
Before, I used Ritek (not printable).
