I have not experienced any problems with this, but I am just after some confirmation:
We all know that removing the 6th jumper switch from the Canopus ADVC-50 deals with Macrovision on VHS, but is there any issue in leaving this switch permanently removed?
I have recorded several tapes with this jumper switch removed and it doesn't appear to be a problem (macrovision on the tapes unknown), but I just wanted to make sure if there are any issues by doing this.
Thanks.
