  1. i hope this is the right forum for this type of questions...
well i have a pinnacle tv card on my pc [i tried looking for the exact type but i couldnt find it anywere].
it came with a softwere called pinnacle studio pctv pro that is not working on my winxp sp1 [i have a pretty good computer]
when i had win98 i manage to make it work, also be aware the my tv card is atleast 3-4 years old.
i tried updating my card drivers from pinnacle site [witch is btw the most unorginazed site ever, links are down, its not clear how or what u should download etc. keep in mind that i may not downloaded the right driver for the right card].
well after looking for an answear i saw that there is a possibility [or not :O ?] using my tv card and not necceserely use the softwere that came with it [ i mean the studio ptcv pro]
so if u know a good simple softwere that will allow me to use my tv card for watching tv plz name it or batter yet link it

    sorry for the crappy english.

  2. Have you tried DScaler? Kinda hard to recommend software until you at least identify the card. Visually check the card and look for the markings bt878 (or something close to that) on the biggest chip. If you have that, then try the btwincap drivers.

VirtualVCR & IUVcr both work great with them BT chipset cards. The latter isn't free though.
