If the movie is an mpeg, use VCD Builder. It usually takes the mpeg files and creates the two tracks needed for VCD and SVCD. These will total just under 700MB when ready to burn (in Toast works fine).

Roast does overburns, too. But it requires X11 (comes with Panther, Tiger, can be downloaded from Apple).

MMB is propably easier to use.

I always used Firestarter FX for overburning.

That beta expiration thing is so obtuse and annoying. I wish the developer would quit with that...

  10. My question was if I have an avi movie which exceeds 700 MB to fit in the normal CD-R disk, I can use Firestarter FX to make smaller, do I understand well or I have to use a 800 MB CD ?

I tried to copy on 800 MB CD-R but not possible I don't know if is the type of CD or what

    Thanks

Has anyone been able to get Firestarter to work with a Pioneer DVR-108 and OS 10.3.9? If yes, what driver are you using in Firestarter's Preferences. Any other tips on getting Firestarter to work with my set up would be appreciated.
