I´m trying to use this program to capture from my Canon digital camera fire-wire-connected to the computer. The program is in contact with the camera but when the program starts the capturing process, which makes the camera to start playing without problems, the program does not show the picture in the Movie Capture Window. The created avi-file does not seem to be al right either. What can be the problem?

P.S. I have also tried to use the option "Enable device control" but then nothing at all happens when I start to play the camera and press the Record-buttom in the Movie Capture Window".

It's been a while since I captured with Premiere 6. Are you sure that your camcorder is in its VCR mode? If I recall, when you are ready to capture, you first click on the record button in the capture window and then click on the play button in order to control the camcorder. You will not use any controls on the camcorder other than setting the power switch to its VCR mode. If this doesn't work, you may want to ask your question in the Adobe Premiere forum at http://www.adobe.com/support/forums/main.html
