well i hope you captured it on a ntfs drive or its screwed ..

what kind of video is it ? (codec)

what is the problem (i.e. cant open/play it?)

right now it is like playing 20 questions without more info ..

  3. sorry i dont think the web cams software uses divx to record its files or a 3 hour movie wouldnt be 4 gigs i have a Logitech QuickCam pro the sofware it sues is called just says QuickCam at the top left i didnt chnage any of its settings so what ever it starts with is what type of video it recorded they all say avi the videos ive made

not sure what ntfs drive is im useing win xp the file says corrupt on it on the little web cam software thing when you try and open it it says the file is invalid or tthe mci device fialed to open the video

my kid has the same webcam .. i threw that software disk in the trash without opening it .. lots of better stuff i was pretty sure was out there..

use gspot on the file and tell us what type of codec it is ..

i never suggested it was divx (doubtful it would be) ..

i suspect you have a fat32 drive and tried to make a 4gig file .. then the file is toast ...
