  1. I just upgraded to .9t with new binaries and all, gave it a single .VOB file and chose the PSP preset. I changed the dimensions to 368 x 208 with the 16:9 aspect selected and gave it a name to appear on the PSP. As soon as I hit Encode, it pops up in the Progress window and immediately says its finished, with the "Ding" noise. Am I doing something wrong? This process worked fine in .9s

  2. Try to change audio track, or try to enable "Invert mapping", or email me to major4@mac.com with your process output (blue "i" icon in the Progress window).

  3. I'm having the same trouble. Additionally, when I try to adjust the preselect video setting from 320x240 to 368x208 the bitrate automatically reverts to some LARGER bit rate. I can change it manually, but as soon as I change tabs (to audio for example) the bitrate snaps back to somthing like 515kbit/s. Same result though. Ding. Done, but not done.

    Fate.

  5. Success!... mostly.

I downloaded the ffmpegx again like you instructed and the PSP movie appears to encode properly. The only issue I am still having is the bitrate. When I select 368x208 the bitrate automatically changes to 515kbit/s. In -s the value would remain 300kbit/s. Even if I manually change the value to 300 or 400, as soon as I select another tab (audio for example) the value snaps back to 515. Obviously, the resulting file size is a bit large.

If the LAST thing I do is type the desired bitrate, I can press 'encode' and the bitrate stays 515... but the filesize is large and leads me to believe that it is being encoded at 515 rather than the lower desired bitrate.

The movie DOES encode properly, and is playable on a PSP. Nice that I don't have to use psprez anymore for 16x9 too! Thanks for the good work.
