Looking forward to the DVD release, hope I like it. The first Star Wars (Sith) movie that I've chosen to not see in the theater.

What, Sith DVD out on Nov 1st as this is sure so quick.

I've seen it in the cinema, the only film seen in there for this year.

Does look as though I'll have the Sith DVD before Xmas.

I'll probably get the PAL version of this just like the previous Star Wars titles as bought in Australia.

If the release is on Nov 1st, then we can probably get it in mid-Oct.

Cool, im looking forward to it. I didnt bother to see it in the theater because of crowds, so this will be a welcome addition to my DVD collection.

Ahhh, but a REAL Star Wars fan would also have the authorized fan film, "Star Wars: Revelations" on DVD ... as well as the unauthorized fan film, "Star Wars Episode 1a: The Phantom Edit" (the one where Jar Jar Binks was edited out of the film). I have both ... but, hehe, to tell you the truth I have nothing else. I used to own Episodes 4/5/6 on VHS but gave them to my kid. 8)

  14. I have Revelations on DVD!

    I forgot to mention it.

And a ton of fan films on my HD.

So to prove who has the craziest vhs collection here it goes:

I have the 2nd special edition widescreen release! It doesn't say special edition like the 97 set. This was released in 2000. I already had the 1st release special editions with the interviews and stuff. Why did I buy the extra set?? I didn't have a widescreen of it. I had the last thx release of the original trilogy but they were full screen. So after two full screen sets I wanted a widescreen. And not knowing how many years it would be until the OFFICIAL dvd release I decided to buy it And I still have all of my ot vhs (though I gave away my wide and full screen copy of phantom menace - which I have on dvd of course ).

THough here's a little bit of trivia:

In the bonus set of phantom menace theres a background bit with john knoll one of the special effects supervisors. In the phantom menace widescreen tape there is a short opening with background on it. They do the story board and all that. At the end of it knoll said Lucas felt like he was holding back on episode 1. On the vhs tape you can here him clearly say "that gave us all a real scare" referring to how much more work they'd be expected to do on episode 2. Now on the dvd release they show that same segment but omitted the knoll reference!
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
