is there any way to find out the frame rate of a real media video file .rmvb?

When the video clip is playing in RealPlayer, try going to File/Clip Properties/Clip Source on the menu. You should see the frame rate listed in one of the streams.

RMVB shell extension can tell you

However rmvb files can be VFR so it might not be 100% accurate.
