  1. I want to create a hidden chapter that can only be seen by doing some gobalidook*^&*&*???

I have 5 chapters I want everyone to see, but the nth one needs to be hidden and only available to people who know the code (?)

Basically, I don't want everyone seeing my wife in a bikini.

DVD Lab Pro has a nifty little keypad utility. Basically, you pick a three digit code. The keypad displays on screen. You use the remote to enter the code one number at a time. If you get it right, the video displays. If not, it doesn't. Of course, anyone could just explore the disc and play the appropriate VOB file in any old media player. There's really no getting around that.

if you use the dlp keypad and playlist functions together you can use the one video asset to get the outcome you want. but as was pointed out, it will only stop your granny from seeing it.

Yeah. The only real way to keep everyone from seeing your wife in a bikini is to not put that clip on the disc. As should be readily apparent from this site, there is no real, truly effective way to prevent someone from viewing or copying anything digital.

  5. I don't expect anyone to watch the dvd on a computer, just a dvd player downstairs connected to the TV.

In that case, the DVD Lab Pro thing should work fine. It will be painfully obvious that something has been hidden, though. I don't know if this is acceptable or not.
