I followed the guide to convert PAL to NTSC using DGPulldown, he says that you can import the .m2v directly into dvd authoring software but when I do I get a GOP error that TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 will not let me ignore....any insight as to why this mght be?

so then, when doing a PAL to NTSC conversion do I set the "Max number of frames in a GOP" to 18 for NTSC or 15 for PAL?

Hi-
Set it for 12. After DGPulldown, it becomes 15. Although the max for NTSC is 18, I think I remember reading here of TMPGEnc complaining if set for 15 (to become 18 after DGPulldown).
