What type of video input does your TV have? I use a ATI Radeon 9550 video card with a ATI DVI to Component adapter. I feed the component video to a video projector.

If you have a ATI card with DVI out, you can see the FAQ's for the adapter here:http://www.ati.com/products/hdtvadapter/faq.html#2. Your present card might be compatible, or you can see ones that are. Component is much higher quality than SVideo or composite.

If you just have S-Video in on your TV you card should have S-video out on the card and your manual will explain dual monitor configuration with S-Video as the second monitor.
