    Use VirtualDub

PRNTSCRN doesn't work on overlay images.

How do I upload screenshots ?

There's a section at the end that explains why your WMP screen caps are black. It's to do with overlays.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  8. Jim, in wmp10, ctrl +i works with full acceleration and overlays, saves in jpg or bitmap.

I installed WMP10 on a few machines at work and I didn't like the look or feel of it, so I've stuck with WMP9 for home (and for MY work machine, of course )
    If in doubt, Google it.

In WMP, go to help > About Windows Media Player. It gives you a version number.

    If in doubt, Google it.
