  1. First, I'm wondering what the region changes and level changes do? I thought I read that messing with those settings could disable macrovision but I haven't played around with them yet.

If not, what would be the best product for disabling macro. I was told the (not sure of name) Sima colour enhancement?? was a good buy from Radio Shack.

Thanks in advance for any help...

  2. The best way is buy a dvd player like sampo. You can disable macrovision by clicking remote control.
This player plays VCD, SVCD, XVCD, miniDVD, mp3, etc etc .

I also have PS2 with MOD chip installed. Plays backup CD's well. I use PS2 only to play games.

I also reae many messages regd. Sima from radioshack. thoses messages says not good. So don't buy it. Instead go for DVD player like sampo

You will do well to find a decent anti-macrovision device these days. The company Macrovision have patented most of the good anti-macrovision technologies, hence the reason you dont find any good ones in the highstreet - Most of the devices you do find are cheapo crap and generally dont do a good job.
