  1. I was wondering if there was any way I can burn mp3s, documents, files, etc on a dvd, using DVD Shrink? It seems like DVD Shrink only allows you to burn whole movies? I am trying to find a program that allows you to burn files on a dvd. It is taking too long to backup my files on a 750-800MB cd-r.

    Thank you

  2. Ummm, use something like Nero to create a data DVD just like you do on a CDR.

  3. Nero will do any of the requisites above. DVDShrink only does DVD Video.
    Quality is my policy.

  4. I dont see the option in Nero. I have Nero 6 Ultra ed. I only see cd options. Can you do it in Roxio Easy CD Creator?

  5. When I go to "New" it gives me a choice of
    1) CD ROM
    2) Audio CD
    3) Mixed Mode CD
    4) CD Extra
    5) CD Copy
    6) Video CD
    7) Super Video CD
    8) Mini DVD - but this isnt a DVD format. The total size (shown below when you are trying to burn) is still only 750 to 800 MB meaning its in cd-r mode...

DVD should be 4.7 gigs right?

    Can someone help?

When you click "new" look to the top left of the box that pops up, it will give you option of cd or dvd.

You are going to feel really silly when you read this.

Okay, after clicking on New compilation, look in the top left of the window for a drop down box that say "CD". click on it and select "DVD".

    You'll get the picture.

  8. guys

Sorry, I dont see a drop down that has an option of selecting dvd or cd. I have Nero 6th ed that I got from Limewire. Maybe its not the complete version? I know some Nero versions have dvd support and others dont. I thought 6th ed did have it, I guess not. Which ones support dvd?

You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning.

Nero is available from their site.

You have a DVD burner, right? Didn't it come with a program?
