  1. I was trying to make a back-up copy of Aviator and this is what I did and what happened:

    1. Use MTR to rip
    A. 1st try Full Extraction
    B. 2nd try Main Features

    2. Used DVD2OneX
    A. 1st try Disc Copy
    B. 2nd try Main Movie

    3. After DVD2OneX was done I tried Apple DVD Player to see if the finished dvd2onex file would play and got the error message: could not detect a valid media file. I got this message both ways I try to use Dvd2OneX. Am I doing something wrone. I've used MTR and DVD2OneX more than 100 times to back up my movies and never had a problem before. Anyone got an idea as to what may be causing this error message.

I had the same problem with MTR 2.66.

The back up video plays until chapter 29 then becomes pixillated and quits or goes back to the chapters menu.

ArrCCos was not detected. Is there a way to manually select ARRCCOS detection?

    MTR 2.66 is ArrCCos aware,
    the only version of DVD2OneX
that is ArrCCos aware is version 1.42.

So even if you rip with MTR 2.66, it isn't until
you use version 1.42 of DVD2ONEX that it will
fix the bad sectors in its creation/re-quantimizing
    to the new VIDEO_TS file.

Merlin, you can after MTR 2.66 has scanned the disc,
go under the "mode" tab, and select
    "Full Disc Extraction-ArrCCos" AFAIK.

Tried it and it worked magnificently!

Now I'm testing all the other coasters i made in the last few months and re doing them (using this method) from the original.
