Hey guys sorry if this is already a topic i searched and couldnt find anything on it...

    I have windows 7 ultimate 64

i ripped my dvds to comp before i had WMC and i put them in .avi format using agk with xvid codecs.

now im just learning how to work WMC and i cant get the files to play...

i have downloaded ffdshow64 bit version along with media control 64 bit version and i still cannot get this to play. i dont want to go back and have to rip all my dvds to vob files especially since i sold most of them off

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks again u guys are the best at helping people out!

Does the avi play fine in wmp?

Try disable the internal win7 decoders with Preferred Filter Tweaker and see if it make any difference.
