  1. ok just reformatted yet again, "note i may have bad hard drive". So i get all my drivers installed everything is working perfect(about 2-3 days), then i boot up today i seen a blue screen for a sec. scandisk is run and it finds like 4 or 5 crosslinked files/ most of them were .log files sopposedly everything fixed

    then computer boots into windows finally and i notice i have no sound. i rightclick on my computer then click properties but nothing happens, i go to control panel click on device manager nothing happens, i reboot same deal nothing happens when i do that.

    also after a little while of running, everytime after reboots too, my taskbar at bottom of screen goes from the xp version back to the standard one WHICH IS VERY ODD.

    im running avast and zonealarm, had zonealarm installed immidiatly FIRST thing i downloaded RIGHT away when connected to internet for first time. avast was installed after these problems accured it did a boot scan found nothing.

    soon i will install adaware but i find that not to be unlikely to help. event viewer lists these items;

    "warning" "event sys"
